Winnipeg ArtistGuy St. Godard’s talent is best described by his work, which captures Canada’s diversely beautiful regions. Guy works in a variety of mediums including oils, pen & ink, pencil, watercolour and acrylic.

Guy’s keen sense of the intricacies that comprise our surroundings define each piece of his work.

Raised by parents who had both been teachers in northern communities, Guy learned first hand to respect and appreciate the beauty of God’s nature and wilderness. In our fast paced society Guy’s works of flowers, the open prairies, the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, historical sites and a kaleidoscope of nature scenes encourage an appreciation for the beauty of the world around us.

Born in St. Boniface, Guy graduated in 1983  from the University of Manitoba with a Fine Arts Diploma majoring in drawing and sculpture; Dean’s Honour List. His work is represented in private collections across Canada, the United States and Europe.

Throughout the year Guy offers art classes from his studio. Each summer, Guy teaches art to children and adults at the International Music Camp located in the beautiful International Peace Gardens.

In addition to regular shows throughout the year, Guy also participates in the St. Norbert Farmer’s Market, the Downtown Winnipeg Bizz Farmer’s Market, and the Kenora Farmer's Market.

Guy welcomes visits to his studio by appointment.
